After succeeded a master degree in typography in 2009 and made myself some experiences with various projects and collaborations, it was time for me to redo my website. NanInteractive is a collaboration between Simon Geilfus and myself. Under this designation we present our work around interactivity.

Through mapping, interactive floor, projections, data visualisations and softwares we are trying to create new user experiences. The website has two parts: the portfolio with contact information and the other part, called the Lab, presents our experiments in the form of a blog.

Lallali is a creative pool aggregating various professions from the audio-visual. Focusing on the idea of a family, Lallali works in the field of graphic design, video, photography and web design.

The Daily Informative Viewer is an experimental software about flows of information. Raising the issue of information media nowadays face to the internet media and the declination of the newspapers, The Daily Informative Viewer presents itself as a tool to navigate through daily news. In the form of a data visualization, the software is a presentation of daily events reported by the New York Times.

Four elements are highlighted:

• authors
• tags
• timeline
• posts

The daily Informative Viewer is based on Java technology and retrieves information via RSS and the New York Times API. A new version is being studied to transcribe software in C++, enhance user experience, navigation and the issue of archiving.

This work is a layout out of my google reader page (an aggregator of blogs).
It’s a selection of articles that have most influenced my work for my diploma. Pages at the end of the book are statistics about the posts. Printed in a single copy, handmade bookbinding with a silk-screened cover in canvas and embossed.

NDLR, short for “Note De La rédaction” (translated as “Editor’s Note – Ed” in English) is a small newspaper edition of a series of questions surrounding the debate about informative media in the digital age. This project is related to my project for my diploma.

Josef Müller-Brockmann was a Swiss graphic designer and teacher, mostly recognised for his simple designs and his clean use of typography, notably Helvetica and Akzidenz Grotesk. His shapes and colours have inspired many graphic designers in the 21st century, and made him one of the main precursors of the International Typographic Style, also known as Swiss Style. This visualization is the result of a personal web research about Josef Müller-Brockmann and the international typographical style. It contains 3 key elements:

1. The research of information on the web
2. Chronological information on Josef Müller-Brockmann’s life, the Swiss style and major themes of the history of design during the 20th century found (found during key element 1)
3. Finally the last part is composed of a critical article based on information found online (key element 1)

Classer, Trier, Rechercher (“Classify, Sort, Search” in English) is a tool-book made to answer to the question “how can we sort a personal library?”

Three elements form the book:

1. A first volume made of a data base. It is made of all new acquisition and includes practical information (title, author, year, sort and more…) as well as more subjective information (rating, notice, physical qualities of the book and more…)
2. With the second volume you can have an instant owerview of the library according to specific criteria.
3. The third element is a box containing adhesive pads used in the second volume.

The consultation of this catalog gives to the visitor an outside overview of a library, where you can find books by various criteria not only based on criteria such as a listing. This catalog is an exeperience to bring the essence of a private library: the relationship to its owner.
